RALEIGH LITTLE THEATRE ANNOUNCES NEW SEASON LINEUP

 

            RALEIGH - The Raleigh Little Theatre released its plan for another year of fantasy, comedy, music and drama.  The community theatre’s new season begins in August and runs through next June, featuring 11 classic productions.

            The season opens with the child favorite “Charlotte’s Web” at the Gaddy-Goodwin Teaching Theatre in July. Other notable shows include “Lost in Yonkers,” “Snoopy,” and “Our Town,” as well as the annual production of “Cinderella”at the Progress Energy Center in December.

Tickets for the new season will go on sale May 10.  Ticket prices range from 8 to 18 dollars, with discounts for kids, seniors and students for many shows.  Memberships and multi-show passes are also available. Productions will rotate between the theatre’s three stages, with one musical taking place outside in the outdoor Stephenson Amphitheatre.

            Casts for each show are made up of local talent, with open auditions for each production. Audition information is available at RaleighLittleTheatre.org.
